To further enhance the charging experience and convenience, the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network (excluding The Quinn．Square Mile) will cease accepting Octopus with effect from 16 June 2026. From that date onwards, all charging services will be available exclusively through digital payment via the “E‑MBility” App.
Users can link a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) in the App in advance to ensure uninterrupted access to charging services.
Furthermore, any remaining balance in the E‑MB Wallet must be fully utilized on or before 16 June 2027. Any outstanding balance thereafter will be forfeited and is non-refundable.
Credit Card Setup Steps
- Open the “E‑MBility” application
- Go to “E‑MB Wallet”
- Select “Payment Method” and follow the instructions to add a credit card
